About The Author
Martina V. Rowley, an Anglo-German professional, grew up under the guidance of her mother, whom she calls an "organisational superhero". Martina’s early career began with an apprenticeship that provided a solid foundation in office management and the meticulous world of German professional training. Over the years, Martina's expertise deepened through extensive international work, where she managed the complex schedules and priorities of C-Suite executives with skill and precision. Decades of corporate work and training gave her a unique level of expertise in time management, organisational strategy and productivity.
In 2015, Martina transformed her vast experience into a thriving virtual business services company, where she now helps entrepreneurs and small business owners master business and office organisation and their productivity. Martina has made it her mission to help others escape the chaos and stress of managing the complexity of running a business or leading an organisation.
In her personal life, Martina is a list-making and spreadsheet ‘nerd’, who meticulously organises and tracks her volunteer activities and output for her local community projects. Her life-balance includes gardening, various fitness activities and cycling, enjoying the great outdoors and nature, as well as traveling.
From me to you: Why I wrote this book
Over the past years of supporting my clients with virtual business services and accountability support, I have learned that many or most working people are overwhelmed at some point. It always disturbs me is when I hear how often or how deeply overwhelmed some individuals feel. When I hear them say they are ‘overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed’ and don’t even know where to start, I want to immediately find out what exactly overwhelms them and how I can help.
I wrote my book to help reduce or prevent such overwhelm by providing this ‘guide’ with some of the best prioritisation, time management and focus techniques. It is intended as a work tool and an inspiration for a better way to work. It offers one central resource based not only on well-known techniques but also my hands-on, lived experience of applying them as an entrepreneur and female business owner.
Seeing my clients, business colleagues and working friends succeed with the tips I recommend is the best reward to me!
